Must be 18 years old by the state competition, and no older than 27 years old at state competition.

Live, work, or attend school full-time in Oakland County.

Graduated from, High School or a GED equivalent prior to the Miss Michigan competition.

Pay MAO registration and AHA fees.

Be a female.

Has ever been married.

Has never posed nude for any form of media.

Desires to be a good role model for all.

Desires to make a difference in the community.

Desires to pursue higher education.

Cannot enter any other competition simultaneously while participating in the Miss America Program.

Is responsible for attending all rehearsals on time.

All rehearsals are closed to delegate and competition volunteers, unless the Executive Director approves prior arrangements.

Is representing the local community and must behave professionally at all times.
